Who Are We?
MYCC was founded in 2008 to assist local communities organize drug-free, violence-free and diverse athletic events. Utilizing training camps, leagues, and tournaments in a variety of sports, MYCC engenders in youth the core values of unity, teamwork, positive competition and physical fitness. MYCC is committed to exemplifying and providing positive ways to harness youthful energy in order to develop a generation of ambitious Americans that make a profound difference in society.
The Muslim Youth Community Center (MYCC) is a 501c3, non-profit organization registered in the State of NJ.
Vision
MY Community Center’s vision is to establish full-fledged community centers with state-of-the-art facilities that include basketball courts, swimming pools, separate work-out areas for men and women, daycare, outdoor fields (soccer, baseball, football), professional kitchen, seminar room/auditorium, banquet halls and much, much more.
Mission
MY Community Center’s (MYCC) mission is to create and strengthen infrastructures that support the positive development of New Jersey Youth and Families through athletic participation and competition, educational tutoring and literacy development and social awareness through mentoring, counseling, life skills training, health education and substance abuse education and prevention.
We hope to serve local communities by providing a venue for communal programs that promote Muslim values to people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds.
